Jahanara Alam

Jahanara Alam was the first Bangladeshi female cricketer to take a five-wicket haul in a single T20 match and the first to be selected to play in the Women's IPL tournament.

She was also a member of the 2018 Bangladesh squad who won the Women's Asia Cup title for the first time.

Jahanara played her first ODI match for Bangladesh against Ireland on the 26th of November 2011.

On the 28th of August 2012, she played her first international twenty-over match against India.

During the 2018 ICC Women's World T20 tournament in the West Indies, Jahanara was the joint-leading wicket-taker for Bangladesh.

In 2019 while playing for Team Velocity in the Women's IPL Challenge, she won the "Ball of the WIPL" award after taking Natalie Sciver and Sophie Devine's wickets.

She played for Bangladesh at the 2019 South Asian Games, with the team winning the gold medal after defeating Sri Lanka in the final.

Jahanara represented Bangladesh in the 2020 T20 World Cup hosted in Australia.
